World Diabetes Day

November 14 is World Diabetes Day (WDD). Led by the International Diabetes Federation, the day unites the global diabetes community to produce a powerful voice for diabetes awareness and advocacy.

World Diabetes Day spreads advocacy and awareness about Diabetes to ensure the escalating health threat posed by Diabetes is understood.

Diabetes is a condition where the amount of glucose in your blood is too high because the body cannot use it properly. This is because your pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin to help glucose enter your body’s cells.

One of the side effects of diabetes is poor circulation, making it hard for your extremities to stay warm and at a comfortable temperature. Heat Holders have been tested by a number of our fans who suffer from Diabetes and this is what they have to say:

“I have been suffering with cold feet. I am Type 2 Diabetic and recently have been having trouble warming up my feet. No matter how socks had been advertised for diabetics, they did not work until yours, that is. I am enjoying walking again with nice warm feet, even though our Georgia winter is unusually cold this year.”

“The socks worked wonderful for my diabetic grandma!”

“I am diabetic and my feet stay cold during winter. I have tried everything. My Granddaughter gave me these socks for Christmas and they are the warmest I have ever tried. I promptly ordered 2 more pairs. They are great.”
